VP Director Leaves Business in Strong Shape
Mark Campbell, one half of the directorship team at Vehicle Procurements and MG Nottingham, is stepping down from his position as Director of both companies.
Mark was brought into the company in 2011 to drive the growth strategy and develop partnerships with both car manufacturers and finance partners. His background within the fleet departments at various car manufacturers made him ideal for this role, and he is credited with leading the rise in turnover for the company to in excess of £6m at its peak.
The ten year plan drawn up for him to deliver this growth was extended due to the COVID pandemic, but it is now time for him to move on to a new challenge. He leaves the company in a strong shape and has achieved many milestones along the way – including increasing the company’s own rental fleet, developing relationships with most major car manufacturers and forging links with the BVRLA and ABP Club.
“I’m really proud of what we have achieved,” Mark commented. “What started as a two-man team working from home has blossomed into a national fleet management company with its own contract hire fleet which owns two garage/office sites and deals with some of the largest bodyshop groups in the country.
“I would like to thank all our partners and customers over the years, all the amazing staff at VP and of course my business partner Malcolm Ledgar without whom none of this would have been possible. I’m very excited about my next challenge and I’m sure it won’t be long until I’m back pestering people to think hard about their choice of new car!”.
Vehicle Procurements will miss Mark’s positive ‘can-do’ attitude and would like to thank him for his years of loyal service, wishing him well with his future endeavours.
